We are excited to announce that the Denver Magic Show has found a new home at the Avenue Grill at 630 E. 17th Avenue in Denver, Colorado. The neighborhood is commonly referred to as ‘Uptown’, and this section of East 17th Avenue is popularly referred to as “restaurant row”. We have also moved the show from the first Monday of every month to the first Thursday of every month.
The Avenue Grill
The attractive brick building was constructed in 1924 and was home to many small retail shops including the East Denver Creamery & Delicatessen owned by the James McCreedy Family. The Avenue Grill was established in 1988 as a traditional San Francisco style neighborhood restaurant. The restaurant décor is reminiscent of the supper clubs of the 30’s and 40’s and features an impressive vintage bar.
The Avenue is renowned for its award winning martinis, friendly staff, and an impressive imaginative menu. It’s also a favored lunch and dinner destination among the uptown Denver business crowd as well as popular neighborhood meeting spot. The restaurant’s unpretentious vibe, superior service, comfortable ambiance, and excellent food have made it an institution on the dining scene.
El Dorado Room
We will be presenting our show in the El Dorado Room, which is a private room across the hall from the main dining area. This room is ideal as it has it’s own entry and reception area. The Denver Magic Show will also be a much more intimate show as the room seats 42 guests.
Now the First Thursday of Every Month
Since we have moved to the Avenue Grill, we decided to change the night of the show to the first Thursday of every month. Our first show will be on March 7th at 7:30pm. Check back soon to learn more about our new show.
